Update. I restored the two databases from backup, and used eseutil to clean
them up. They mounted, and AFAIK, everybody is happy.

I'm doing that idea with a different application (not as crucial, can be
down for a day if need be). Every two weeks I delete the (turned off)
vm, and remigrate. Then I just have to update/restore the database
(which is backed up daily) if the time ever comes.

Hello. I just completed moving a mailbox from an Exchange 2000 server to a
2007 server. The user reports that hundreds of messages that had been
deleted by the user over the last 6 months have reappeared in the user's
Inbox.
Has anyone heard of this, or know a way to make sure deleted messages in

Is there another way to do this? Is it recommended? Our store (we have
just one) is about 40 GB, with a STM file of 26 GB (approx).
I tried to google it, but nothing came up. Maybe because I'm tired at
the end of the day.
I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I use EL Filter. This is freeware. It looks at all three logs at once
remotely. You can filter for warnings, errors or specific events. Also, do
