Sendmail or exim or a complete different?
The problem you have sounds like one i had a year ago.
You must tell your local MDA to rewrite your address from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
For this it would be fine to know which MDA you are using.

In error_log it says:
[notice] child pid xxx exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
