In regards to this isa device stuff, I have an isa 56.6 us robotics modem that doesn't seem to be detected. Linuxconf won't query it, kudzu won't detect it, and kppp can't use it. The weird thing is that Mandrake 7.0 detected it fine with Kudzu. Any suggestions ...maybe disable plug 'n play

After trying to go from the stock 2.2.15-4mdk kernel to 2.4.0-test2, I get a "Fatal: empty map section" after doing a /sbin/lilo. I have upgraded kernels before with mandrake and had no problem, but never using reiserfs or an initial ramdisk. Could it be a problem with these two? I am doing
