Anyone out there use Icecast? I'm having trouble getting the default decoder
(shout) working correctly. Here is the scenario. After running the server I go
to another computer on my network (academic T1), I attempt to connect to the
stream, it buffers and all, and then it plays fine but corrupts after a minute
or two, sometimes longer, sometimes after a shorter amount of time... I'm not
sure at all what causes this! Should I use another decoder app? Is there an
easily set-up-able one out there that you guys would reccomend? I re-encoded
the 128 kbps mp3s on the list to 96 kbps (should be plenty streamable on a T1),
yet the same thing happens. Thanks!
Ken
