Dear friends, I have an usb scanner (Epson 2450 Photo) in a server runing 9.0 up to date. When I switch on the scanner a /dev/usb/scanner0 device is created, the problem is about permissions: USER: francisco and GROUP: root!!!, so just the user francisco or the root could access to the scanner!!!
As root I can change this, but as soon I switch off and then again on the scanner the permissions are again francisco, root :-( Perhaps something is runing badly in the usb configuration. Can any os yours help me to solve this? I would like to have the scanner accesible for all users!! Thanks so much in advance Francisco Alcaraz Murcia (Spain)
