You could go to https://github.com/fail2ban/fail2ban/archive/0.10.2.tar.gz extract it, open README.md  and follow the instructions to install it. The downside of using this method, is that you can't use redhats method of uninstalling it. It would also be good to backup your fail2ban settings to

[Fail2ban-users] Need Upgrading Help

I am on a Linux 2 Amazon AMI with PHP 7.2 running Apache 2.4 and Python 2.7.14. Currently, I am on an old version 0.8.14. The s/w isn't working correctly anymore and I have been advised to upgrade. Since this is a Linux 2 system I wasn't able to use Yum to install fail2ban so I had to do it m
