CSTSubject: Bank of sustainability: Meeting, Dec. 12, 7:30 pm
 Hi everyone,
I'm sending this notice to all that I have contacted about the bank of
sustainability project, the Golden Rule Trust. There is a community wide
meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening on December 12th at 7:30 pm. The location
is the Phoenix Rising Hall on the corner of 3rd and Burlington. The most
significant challenge that we face as humans today I believe is learning the
strength that we have available in local cooperation, rather than depending on
the fictional rational that someone else from somewhere else is going to do it
for us.
An accomplishment that Fairfield still needs to complete lies in having enough
jobs to support a larger prosperous population. This will be essential for
attracting and retaining the number of people we would like to see living here.
A larger population is also critical for maintaining a diversity of cultural
programs and civic amenities. I personally do not see another viable means of
making that a reality along with the prosperity that will accompany it
happening within a reasonable time frame other than having our own bank.
There is a two page summary of the project attached to this email. If there is
someone that you think will be interested in the project please send it to
them. I hope to see everyone, or at least all who can possibly come Tuesday
evening. Thank you for your interest!
