Answer to Miguel's Question Twelve.
[12 What do you see as the problem with all the new Gnostic churches that have sprung across the world, with the exception of Gnostic Sanctuary in Palo Alto? ] You are more involved with them than I am Miguel you answer it ;- ) The real question is what is the problem with human beings. I went inside a church once (not by choice) when I was about eight or nine years of age. My father had just come back from Germany when he was demobbed from the army, and I guess he and my mother wanted a few months together, and good for them, I did not blame them or mind at all. So I was shopped off down to Southampton for a few months, where I had a fine time exploring alone and getting one of the old trams down to the docks many a morning. I used to be woken up ever morning to the sound of the fog horns of the Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeth liners. And of course that was long before Southampton was a suburb of Poland. Anyway, I got dragged off to a church one fine Sunday morning at the demand of a friend of an old distant relative removed about five times. I had not been in there for more than half an hour when after listening to them I was physically sick all over the floor and I had to run out of the place to maintain my sanity. That was the first and last time I ever went to a church. (Oh sorry yes - I was Christened in one at a few days old - to high Latin Mass). I think at that age had I had a machine gun with me I would have shot the bloody lot of them for tying to mess with my mind. I do not know if there are any Gnostic Churches in the UK, I have never heard of one, but there might be. How many Gnostic Churches were there before the Nag Hammadi Codices were blasted all over the media twenty years ago? Does that not just show you how gullible gits jump on any new bandwagon as it comes along and is the flavour of the day? There is the proof for you buddy boy. If it were not tragic it would be funny. So, anyway, given your experience of them then what are they all telling their subscribers? Are they telling them about the gnosis/psychognosis event and what it is like being there and what it reveals; and the journey to it; and what the effects of it all are? Are they **** ! I have been on Gnosticism and so called gnostic lists mate, and that was far more than enough. As for the Palo Alto gnostic sanctuary, then I have never been there (saw it on TV however), and as I said before, my interest and admiration is with the Lady there. She knows full well what she is doing and why, believe you me. She is also one of those rare beings whom I made reference to in the last email in this series. That is all. But if I lived in Palo Alto I would not go there but I sure would ask the Lady out for a pint of ale and I know she would come. Ask her yourself. But let me remind you what gnosis is. Since it has been said that you are my twin, and true companion, then examine yourself. For those who have not known their SELF have known nothing of any lasting worth. But those who have come to know their SELF have simultaneously come into the knowledge and understanding of the depths of the all, and what they are and where they come from. Thus examine yourself, and come to find your SELF, for it is from Eternity for the purpose of to be known, loved, and lived by on earth, as it is in Eternity. Gnosis is an experience, not a belief. It cannot be found in books or dialogue. IT can only be found in the ground of our being when time ends for you. But good and true dialogue can point the mind at it. And a life not studied is a life wasted. A great wonder, dear Asklepios, is Man (Mind). Little minds talk about people and daily events and what they want and what they like and do not like. Bigger minds talk about more important things, such as how can we make this world a better place. And wee little brain dead minds like mine talk about where the answer to the reason for that search can be found. Such is life and the interesting mix here on this little world. But nothing is for nothing - not even little brain dead minds ;- ) Gnothi Seauton.
