You're out of date, Billy, it's no longer called "Global Warming" nor
even "Climate Change". It's now "Climate Disruption." ;-)
And call it what you like, it’s a global phenomenon.

Rick, it's not my term. I heard it last year in a radio interview
with a climate scientist. They came up with "Climate Change" because
people were poo-pooing "Global Warming" when unusually cold weather
would occur and they didn't under stand things like the Jet Stream
being effected. Then that didn't explain things like seasons coming
early or even late so it became "Climate Disruption".
One of the folks I hang out with at the downtown Starbucks worked on
the climate project years ago at Lawrence Livermore. He says that the
press was always bugging them for a definitive answer. He also likes
to say they discovered that one could never tell what a cloud was
going to do.
Part of the reason you have "deniers" is they don't want more meddling
in their lives and I do believe that some politicians and companies
will use the situation for their own profit.
The earth is overpopulated with humans for the infrastructure.

So, your solution is to what, honk if you hate noise pollution?
The most densely populated cities are in southern and eastern Asia,
though Cairo and Lagos in Africa also fall into this category. Low
population densities may cause an extinction vortex and lead to further
reduced fertility. Examples of the causes in low population densities
include:
* Increased problems with locating sexual mates
* Increased inbreeding

The infrastructure is in place because it profits big business. We
probably need to be living a simpler, cleaner style of living which
would be a radical change from what we have today. We are a very
wasteful species.
BTW, there is a major solar flare headed our way which will visit
earth in the next few days. Might be disruptive, might not.
