Yeah, Obama did a little horsetrading and got insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions, and expanded access to insurance to over 30 million Americans. Socialized medicine? Hardly. I don't like Obamacare either but for an entirely different reason. Obama let the insurance industry write the Affordable Healthcare Act. If he had had some balls, he would have pushed for Medicare for all and let those blood sucking insurance companies compete by cutting CEO salaries. If you want to rail against "socialized medicine" you should picket the VA hospitals, close them down and make Vets pay for private insurance. Medicare operates at 3% overhead. Insurance companies pay their top executives 33% off the top of every premium you pay. Insurance companies are the in it for the money, not your health.
