No telling. However, the Gospel of Judas *is* full
of language and terminology that makes it pretty
clear that he was a gnostic. So the question arises
whether he was one before he met Jesus, or whether
Jesus himself spread gnostic teachings. Given the
predominant themes in the Gospel of Judas, I would
suspect it's the former.
