You gotta love it when a fool pontificates. Brahmarishi Devarata said that ii.m was the pranava of the rig veda, the bija mantra of Indra, which reveals the hidden nature of the vedic mantras.
He said that om is the principle mantra of Shiva, the supreme deity of the yajur veda. He also said ii.m om shrii followed by the gayatri was the mantra key to creation and the basis for the vedic mantras. No doubt Pundit Çur has shown just how much more he knows about the Rig Veda. Why those petty pandits like Brahmarishi Devarata haven't even read Lama Govinda. Yep, a real rishi among us.
