Someone mentioned it to me in passing. I don't have any data to verify
it, but it does not surprise me. Ru's have often had a distressing
tendency to think Republican, although in FF at least they seem to
have finally seen the light.

City of Fairfield's five wards:
Ward 1 Obama 247 McCain 232
Ward 2 (MUM) Obama 233 McCain 53
Ward 3 Obama 240 McCain 146
Ward 4 Obama 217 McCain 129
Ward 5 Obama 263 McCain 257
Townships in Jefferson County:
Blackhawk/Polk Obama 94 McCain 226
Buchanan Obama 69 McCain 154
The breakdown for voting is always by ward. There are 12 wards.
Cedar/Center is one ward. The county doesn't distinguish one voter
from another when they show up at the polls. Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, are
in the city of Fairfield. The rest are rural. If you look at the rural
wards, they voted for
it, but it does not surprise me. Ru's have often had a distressing
tendency to think Republican, although in FF at least they seem to
have finally seen the light.

This is what I hear, anway, that Vedic City, by a narrow margin, voted

Have some respect.
Which makes Vedic City a small red dot in an
ocean of blue, since Jefferson County as a whole, and
