You will find that term gets changed to people of color or colored people. Black is derogatory. Many people are half white and black, or half hispanic or asian and black or asian-white etc . It is derogatory to Tiger Wood's mother to call him black. He is colored. There are no black people, and there are no white people. I'm an artist, and if I have to use white in a portrait is is because the person is dead. If I have to use pure black, it is because it is a pitch black night and I only want to show a silhouette. Black and white are terms people are not comfortable with, but you are behind the times. You are totally out of touch if you think that if you have a conversation with a black friend of yours about all these terms as I described it above and see what they say about it.
