I have a trestle about block north probably about 50-60' high though
made of metal. It's still active and trains come through all the time
including around midnight. I just hope none of them derail especially
as I'm driving under it or when carrying toxic materials (we've had

This trestle was built in 1921 and was recently revitalized for walkers to
enjoy the view and the structural visual of all that wood criss crossing as its
foundation. 650 feet long and 110 feet high this was once the route for tons
and tons of raw logs transported down Vancouver Island. This is
