When I first came to Fairfield, IA, home of the Maharishi University of Management, I had no idea of COWramels, what to speak of Wholly ones! In fact, I didn’t even know what a COWramel is, and I would never seriously consider that I could ever promote a concept that was destined to impact human history more profoundly than The Beatles (well maybe in my wildest dreams). But in this magical world subtly illumined by a most profound collective meditation, miraculous correlations are common. It’s the special fun that any spiritually minded person has here in Farifield; perhaps it is even happening, at this moment, as you read this. Because I am enjoying dinner at Sardono’s Mexican Restaurant in Fairfield, and you and Goodness knows how many others have just connected with me, and not by accident. Some say life is an accident, but we know better. Every child has causes, therefore we all have causes.. Trillions have been convinced that out of nothing, there was a big bang, and here we are. But no one has ever observed anything come from nothing, though I’m sure there are some out there who will say they have. Hopefully a billion universes will not pop into being on the media your eyes are presently reading, and you will be given the opportunity to ponder the obvious with me until we all have achieved enlightenment. Placing sardonic thoughts aside, I am happily composing these rubriks of paradigm shifts, and look forward to the day when Sardano’s is completely vegetarian. Notice also, that though I am meditating with great faith, I am not holding my breath. So what is a COWramels, anyway, and how can it be Wholly? A COWramel is a milk caramel holistically composed from organic sugar, milk from contented ahimsa herds, along with the divine and enlightened devotion of all involved. Ahimsa herds are herds of cows, bulls, calves, and working oxen that live full and happy lives as contributing members of the society of all living beings on earth. Sounds so crazy it just might work, doesn’t it? Naturally! In other words, naturally, even though its sounds so crazy that it might work, a COWramels is a milk caramel holistically composed from oganic sugar and ahimsa cow milk from herds never connected with the world of slaughterhouses, and which consequently live full, happy, and proud lives working together and with real people for the benefit of all sentient beings for a very very long time. When you get a good idea, you’ve got to run with it. First, lets start at a point which we can conventionally designate as the beginning of this planet transforming concept that children will always understand better than we adults: the derevation of WhollyCOWramels.
