The basic principle of H-K -tranliteration of

Global Family Chats

December 30th http://streaming.mou.org/MOU/Chat/30_dec_09.wmv Raja
Hagelin gave a masterly overview of the many great initiatives and
developments in Invincible America.
Many may not be aware that since the beginning of the Invincible America
Assembly 4 years ago, the crime rate has come down every year, this year
by 11%. It is now the lowest since record keeping began in 1962, all in
direct contradiction to all expectations. Raja Hagelin attributed this
otherwise inexplicable trend directly to the group of Yogic Flyers,
including over 1000 Vedic Pandits, on the Invincible America Assembly.
Raja Hagelin went on to bring out the significance of many initiatives,
with the added effect of slides and 4 video clips, in three areas:
outreach initiatives, marketing initiatives, and programmes that are
increasing our positive image.
The presentation was so rich that any attempt at summarizing it would be
meaningless; watch it and enjoy the vision of Ram Raj unfolding.
Great congratulations and thanks from Maharishi's global family all
around the world to Raja Hagelin and his team, and to the Pioneers of
Invincible America on the Invincible America Assembly!

our Invincible America community and a number of parcels of organic

afternoon and Wednesday morning. Please see the announcement for
details of when each parcel will be sold.

Since Global Country of World Peace owns quite a lot of land in the
community we want to make about 1/3 of it available for those who
wish to take advantage of prime organic real estate along Route 1 and
inside Maharishi Vedic City for development, organic agriculture or
residential or commercial uses. We feel this will help stimulate
faster growth in the community and make property available contiguous
to Maharishi University of Management, between MUM and Maharishi

In addition, proceeds of the sale of these properties will be used to
support Global Country of World Peace Movement activities in the

[FairfieldLife] U.S. Jobless Claims Drop to Lowest Level Since 2008

2010-01-01 Thread do.rflex

Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Fewer Americans than anticipated filed claims for
unemployment benefits last week, pointing to an improvement in the labor market
that will help sustain economic growth next year.

Initial jobless claims fell by 22,000 to 432,000 in the week ended Dec. 26, the
lowest level since July 2008, Labor Department figures showed today in
Washington. The number of people collecting unemployment insurance fell in the
prior week to 4.98 million, and those receiving extended benefits jumped.

Companies are retaining staff as sales improve and production picks up. Gains
in consumer spending, which accounts for 70 percent of the economy, may
encourage more hiring in coming months, helping to bolster the rebound from the
worst recession since the 1930s.

It's boding well for outright job growth, said Stephen Gallagher, chief U.S.
economist at Societe Generale in New York, who forecast claims would drop to
430,000. It seems that some of the layoffs that took place in the early part
of the year were excessive. ...

Actually, there were several initiators already in Guyana at the time Jonestown
happened. They were there on Maharishi's instructions and were, of course,
trying to solicit arrangements with the government for TM courses, etc.
Kurleigh King was also involved (can't remember but he very well may have been
Guyanese himself).

The main problem then was that the TMers, despite most if not all being
Canadians, were suspected as CIA agents. The government then, as I believe it
is now, was Marxist and was highly suspicious of outside influences.

My very good friend who was one of those initiators had a WHOLE lot of stories
to tell me about Jonestown, the government's reaction to it, and how it
influenced acceptance of TM there. As for the Guyanese people, he told me they
all thought the Jonestown mass suicide was a good excuse for parody songs
making fun of it all, which permeated the airwaves for months afterwards.
After he got back, he used to sing me some of the lyrics in a faux Caribbean
accent and would have me rolling on the floor.

So who does control where the money goes
in the TMO, both theoretically and

But, in fact, there is no 'TMO' and, there's
no money. It is a myth that one single
entity owns and controls the 'TM Movement'.
And, it's a myth that any one individual
controls the Movement.

Ned Wynn got to carry the Maharishi's 'skin',
for five minutes, one time, and so Ned told
the Maharishi that he wanted to be a
full-time TM Teacher. Maharishi said it
wasn't practical, There's no money in it.

Actually -- and this would fit in quite nicely with some of Maharishi's
rhetoric over the years -- it would be invincibility against...THE UNITED
STATES. Not that the people would care very much if the US invaded, but the
elitist, Marxist-leaning ruling class -- largely educated in American and
European Leftist-dominated universities, as were the nutcases in Nicaragua (the
Sandanistas) -- are the ones afraid of another Grenada.

Indeed, the people on the street would probably LOVE to have the US invade and
bring a better quality of life to them. You know, people forget this but a
week after the US invaded Iraq after 9/11 they did a poll of people on the
street in Teheran and the overwhelming sentiment was jealousy. Many of those
polled resented that the US had invaded Iraq and not Iran and questioned why
the US was being so prejudicial against them.

In light of what is happening there these days we can understand why.

[FairfieldLife] Lyme Disease Symptoms .

2010-01-01 Thread maryegamil

Lyme disease is a multi-system bacterial infection that is caused by the
bacterium Borrelia burgdoferi. Interestingly research has proven that the
bacterium that causes Lyme disease has been in the United States for over 100
years.
http://a.lazazaa.com
The bacterium live in nature in the bodies of wild animals and are transmitted
from one animal to another through the bite of an infective tick. Animals in
this chain include humans. The ticks live on the proteins from blood. As they
travel from meal to meal they inject the tiny bacteria into the bloodstream of
their current host.

what I've read, the Knowledge,
'Sophia', is an Eastern religious
concept.

According to Mircea Eliada, the yogic

South Asia. 'Yoga' isn't found in any

indigenous practice, beginning with
the first historical yogin, Shakya

The enlightenment tradition as a yogic

The 'conciousness only' school of the

The object of yoga is to transcend the

[FairfieldLife] Angelina Jolie hates Obama?

2010-01-01 Thread ShempMcGurk
I usually don't put much truck into how celebrities feel about politics or
politicians, but I find the following claim that Angelina Jolie hates Obama
intriguing because I always assumed she was some huge leftist, particularly
because Brad Pitt is a big Democrat:

http://tinyurl.com/yhtnkbn

The article states that Jolie suspects Obama is a socialist in disguise. Wow,
if true, that makes Jolie sound like Michael Savage...and certainly in the same
camp as Rush Limbaugh.

But then I remembered reading something a few years ago and it started to make
sense. At the time it was rumored that Jolie was interested in taking the lead
role for Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. It was also reported at the time that
Jolie was a big Rand fan. Ayn Rand, of course, is the godmother of the
Libertarian movement and an ultra-capitalist.

In the article linked to above, though, it states that Jolie is NOT a
Republican like her father which, again, makes sense if she was strongly
Libertarian.

I will have to readjust my assessment of Jolie -- in a more positive direction.

Yup, Jolie is pretty confused. Capitalism sucks. It's just a bunch
of robber barons holding the masses up. They are a real drag on
society. The ironic thing is that the capitalists are getting bailouts
from the government which is socialism for the rich while the rest of us
are expected sink or swim in the cesspool of capitalism.

I'm really noticing trends in elitism in this country. Special suff for
the rich and nothing for the masses. The time for revolution is NOW!

December 29th http://streaming.mou.org/MOU/Chat/29_dec_09.wmv Dr Adam
Pressman introduced two video clips of David Lynch's trip to India
(helicopter flight up through the majestic Himalayas to Jyotir Math, and
arrival in Jabalpur), and Bobby Roth summarized briefly some of the major
promotion angles being undertaken in the US. He told a story of when
Maharishi was asked why he was developing so many big projects in education,
agriculture, health, Vastu, etc., Maharishi answered that we're digging the
canals in the desert preparing for when the floods come.
Dr Pressman mentioned that Raja Hagelin is writing a definitive book on
Modern Science and Vedic Science. Also that many video programmes are be
prepared with the David Lynch Foundation, e.g. a documentary on the project
for homeless men in New York. Also that DLFTV is offering its services as a
video producer to the Rajas and ministers, and that the videos can be very
useful for fundraising.
Raja Luis said that Guyana is transitioning to invincibility with a series
of Yogic Flying courses beginning in the coming days, which will create
enough flyers for invincibility. He explained that this is the first time a
country has made the transition to invincibility based on a project
undertaken by a government institution without the Movement being
established in the country. Great congratulations to Raja Luis!
Raja Luis also said 3 countries have now requested very large Vastu housing
developments using the inexpensive construction system he has adopted.

Re: [FairfieldLife] The Secret to Playing Latin Music

2010-01-01 Thread Bhairitu
The essence is polyrhythmic. If you take that dotted quarter pattern
but set it over 3/4 instead you have 2 and against 3. The polyrhythm
tends to lend a feeling of freedom to the music since the mind is
dealing with two independent rhythms. The bossa nova is a pattern of
the the dotted quarters in the first measure resuming again in the
second measure on the count of two with a dotted quarter and then
another wrapping back into the first measure of dotted quarters. South
American music can be very fun to play.

The rhythm pattern brings up another secret of music that I actually
didn't learn until I went to college and from my percussion teacher.
Most of us learn to count a measure 1-2-3-4. Instead try counting it
2-3-4-1 or always into the downbeat. This makes the music move
forward. Often students when counting 1-2-3-4 would play very stilted.
When taught to count 2-3-4-1 their playing would begin to flow. Next I
would teach them to bite off music in phrases instead of a
conglomeration of notes. This ability to think in phrases is often the
difference between a mechanical player and a great musician.

all of the mass of the universe consists of Dark Matter(30%?)

It took the Sidhas, Governors, Maharishi and the Masters of Wisdom many years
to pull down the evil Berlin wall.

Tearing down capitalism is obviously a much greater undertaking as it is an
older and global cancer reaching all corners of earth.

But don't worry, Maharishi has had the downfall of capitalism in mind
since He came out of the Himalayas, it's bound to happen but patience is
necessary.

Somewhere He was quoted from the 50s saying that this Knowledge would end the
disgracing slavery conditions for working people everywhere (from memory) If
someone has the exsact quote it would be appreciated.

I only know Bob Roth from the Chantarella 6-month course I and Barry Wright
were on with him in '77. Roth was one of several informal participant/leaders
of the course.

What I always found interesting about him was his similarity to Bevan in the
following sense: on the 6-month course he was skinny as he is now (and looks
virtually the same). Then I saw him a few years later and he ballooned by,
literally, about 100 pounds. Then the next time I saw him he was back to being
skinny.

Bevan was like that in the old days but got stuck on the fat side, unlike Roth
who got stuck on the skinny side.

Question is: who had more fun: Roth or Morris? Is it better to eat like a pig
and enjoy yourself even though you will die 3 or 4 years earlier than you
otherwise would...or deprive yourself and get an extra 3 or 4 years of life and
be able to climb up stairs without gasping?

Fat Bastard: I can't stop eating. I eat because I'm unhappy, and I'm unhappy
because I eat. It's a vicious cycle. Now, if you'll excuse me, there's someone
I'd like to get in touch with and forgive... myself.

A generous soul obviously, and very blissfull also.

What I always found interesting about him was his similarity to Bevan in the
following sense: on the 6-month course he was skinny as he is now (and looks
virtually the same). Then I saw him a few years later and he ballooned by,
literally, about 100 pounds. Then the next time I saw him he was back to
being skinny.
Bobby got really thin on his 6-month course because of fasting and extreme
dietary restrictions, but he's been a pretty normal weight ever since. He's
healthy and very energetic. He was never obese, so he couldn't have gained
100 pounds. Maybe 50.

Gaining 100 pounds would have made him morbidly obese, which he wasn't only
because he gained it on an underweight, skinny frame. But he was certainly
obese (in a healthy circa-Sling-Blade Billy Bob Thornton sort of way).

The article states that Jolie suspects Obama is a socialist in disguise.
Wow, if true, that makes Jolie sound like Michael Savage...and certainly in

But then I remembered reading something a few years ago and it started to
make sense. At the time it was rumored that Jolie was interested in taking
the lead role for Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. It was also reported at the
time that Jolie was a big Rand fan. Ayn Rand, of course, is the godmother of
the Libertarian movement and an ultra-capitalist.

In the article linked to above, though, it states that Jolie is NOT a

I will have to readjust my assessment of Jolie -- in a more positive

Eli Lilly Co. heiress Ruth Lilly dies at 94

Over the course of her life, the Indianapolis native gave away much of her
inheritance from the Eli Lilly Co. fortune. Court documents showed in 2002
that Lilly had bequeathed nearly $500 million to charitable and arts-related
groups.

[FairfieldLife] Starting the Year with a Mariachi Band

2010-01-01 Thread John
I decided to have lunch at a Mexican restaurant at the Mission District today.
As I got in the restaurant, I was surprised to see a five piece Mariachi band
playing there. So, I ordered my usual machaca dish and listened to the music.
Towards the end of my meal, I requested the band to play the following song:

I'm hoping for everyone that the new year will be just as exciting as today.

I always assumed scientists were referring to space when talking about the
abundance of dark matter.

If I got it right, according to Lawrence Krauss, almost
all of the mass of the universe consists of Dark Matter(30%?)
and Dark Energy(70%?). My wild hypothesis is, that /aakaasha/
is Dark Matter and/or Dark Energy.

Now, YF seems to be based on paying attention to the
fact, that ones body basically is what is described above,
and after that raising the vibrational level of that
particular lump of /aakaasha/ by mentally manipulating it! :D

Your above link doesn't work. Other than discovering Rubin is a right wing
