Re: [FairfieldLife] Is this the End of the GOP?

2015-09-10 Thread jr_...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
MD, Share, and Ann

He was indeed born as a Leo ascendant with Mars in the first house and the Sun
and Rahu are placed in the powerful 10th house, the field of career. Using
regular Parasara jyotish indicators, his chart looks powerful since he is now
running the main period of an exalted Rahu in the 10th house. So, he is
getting a lot of notoriety by proposing drastic measures against undocumented
immigrants (signified by Rahu) by sending them back to their home country and
by building a fence along the border to exclude aliens (Rahu).

However, the subperiod of Mars, starting in October 31, 2015, shows the
weakness of his chart. Mars is placed in the 12th house of loss in the navamsa
chart. So, his apparent popularity will wane during the subperiod.

Using Nadi astrology technique, the sublord of Rahu is Jupiter, which is
placed in the second house, and is the lord of the 5th and 8th house of failure
and misery. So, the facade of success is being projected by Rahu, the planet
of deceit and illusion. But, in reality, the true indicator of his chart is
Jupiter which shows the failure of his campaign against the undocumented
immigrants.

rising sign of Leo, and the Moon sign of Scorpio.

The Leo and Scorpio parts of his nature are why he’s so brash, and “large
and in charge.”

The rising sign indicates the way the world sees you, and your public
persona. Leo, of course, is the sign of royalty. And his rising sign degree is
in early Leo, falling into the ancient Vedic constellation of Leo known as
Magha, meaning “the mighty one.” Magha is the most competitive and driven of
the three Vedic signs in Leo. (L. Ron Hubbard had his Moon here…).

So, Donald sees himself as a King, and others do as well.

Not only was his station in life inherited (like any royal) he has vast
territories, and his holdings are garish and ostentatious. (Ever seen pics of
Trump Tower or Mar-A-Lago? Super palatial…)

The thing that really makes him a king, though, is that he has Mars in the
first house in Leo.

For those blessed to be born with this regal sign in the position of the
first house in their horoscope, Mars becomes a planet of great power, known as
a Raja Yoga planet, because it “rules” both an angle and trine (in this case,
the 4th and 9th houses).

MD and Share,

This is an interesting discussion. To determine how well Trump will do during
the campaign, one has to know what period he is running right now. I'll
research this later as I've go to do some business this afternoon. It would
also help to analyze his chart by using the Nadi astrology techniques.

from Carol Allen's newsletter dated Aug 15

According to the calculations of Vedic astrology (which differ from Western
by almost an entire sign) he’s a Gemini (they like to diversify, are easily
bored, and enjoy new challenges – writing and media, especially) with the
rising sign of Leo, and the Moon sign of Scorpio.

[FairfieldLife] How to Terraform Mars Quickly

However, there is one scientist on the internet who claims that Mars has

Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Apple running out of ideas?

2015-09-10 Thread Bhairitu noozg...@sbcglobal.net [FairfieldLife]
My point was that with Jobs gone Apple seems to be falling apart. Was
it his quirky wisdom that made it a success? The reason Petra loves the
Apple stuff is because they are designed like toys. That's not an
insult but a design principal Jobs insisted on: KISS. I can see it but
I can't because I don't own any Macs either than an ancient Blueberry I
fell owner too that is gathering dust in the garage.

I recently was looking at their app store and it hasn't changed much in
3 years. Google keeps revamping and updating theirs. No wonder Android
is leading 3 to 1 in sales. There IS one thing that Jobs didn't want
that might help: allow developers to develop iOS apps on other platforms
like Windows and Linux. One can to an extent but usually to ship you
still need a Mac.

On 09/10/2015 06:05 AM, j_alexander_stan...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife] wrote:

Best thing I ever did was get Petra completely switched over to Apple
products. Android was never a good fit for her, and when US Cellular
finally decided to carry the iPhone, I got her one. Because it's the
same OS as her beloved iPad, she had no problems with it. On Android,
all she'd do was phone and text; on the iPhone, she checks her email,
looks at the weather, tracks the stock market, etc. Granted, all that
can be done on Android, but she could never figure it out. A few
months ago, I finally got her switched over from her crappy Vista
laptop to an iMac.

As for me, I love my MacBook and iPads, but I still prefer Android for
my phone and Windows for my desktop PC.

Apple's plans land with a thud:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/markets/2015/09/09/apple-stock-ipad-iphone-aapl/71945980/

Apps are the future of TV? There have been TVs with apps on them for
several years now. But Apple aways takes a page from Goebbels to make
it look like they invented it. Before their was the iPod there were MP3
players. Before there was the iPhone there were other smart phones
starting with the Symbian phones back in the late 1990s.

And a $100 pencil that Jobs never wanted?

Apple is the Calvin Klein of computers. They get you to spend more
money than you should because of a logo.

More from Carol Allen's Aug 15 newsletter   While the rising sign
represents our “Mask to the world” it’s the Moon sign that reveals our
emotional nature.    As I said, Trump has the Moon in the sign of Scorpio.
One of my astrology teachers always said that people with the Moon in the sign
of Scorpio were POWERFUL.    (I see it in the charts of entrepreneurs and
dynamos of all kinds all the time – Oprah has this, as well!)    Scorpio people
are also “ruled” by Mars and it’s important to note that Trump’s Vedic Moon
sign (the smaller sign in Scorpio) is translated to mean “The Chief.”    It’s
classified as a “demon” constellation – this doesn’t make him “bad” or “evil” –
but it does make his emotional nature and way of relating to be very
emotionally intense, dramatic, and independent. Those born in the “demon”
constellations are happy to be “out of step” wish social mores, and to “March
to their own drummer.” They care more about living from their truth than
pleasing people, hence his insistence that “getting along” and “political
correctness” aren’t what matters.

from Carol Allen's newsletter dated Aug 15   According to the calculations
of Vedic astrology (which differ from Western by almost an entire sign) he’s a
Gemini (they like to diversify, are easily bored, and enjoy new challenges –
writing and media, especially) with the rising sign of Leo, and the Moon sign
of Scorpio.    The Leo and Scorpio parts of his nature are why he’s so brash,
and “large and in charge.”    The rising sign indicates the way the world sees
you, and your public persona. Leo, of course, is the sign of royalty. And his
rising sign degree is in early Leo, falling into the ancient Vedic
constellation of Leo known as Magha, meaning “the mighty one.” Magha is the
most competitive and driven of the three Vedic signs in Leo. (L. Ron Hubbard
had his Moon here…).    So, Donald sees  himself as a King, and others do as
well.    Not only was his station in life inherited (like any royal) he has
vast territories, and his holdings are garish and ostentatious. (Ever seen pics
of Trump Tower or Mar-A-Lago? Super palatial…)    The thing that really makes
him a king, though, is that he has Mars in the first house in Leo.    For those
blessed to be born with this regal sign in the position of the first house in
their horoscope, Mars becomes a planet of great power, known as a Raja Yoga
planet, because it “rules” both an angle and trine (in this case, the 4th and
9th houses).

Re: [FairfieldLife] Is this the End of the GOP?

2015-09-10 Thread Share Long sharelon...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
from Carol Allen's newsletter dated Aug 15   According to the calculations of
Vedic astrology (which differ from Western by almost an entire sign) he’s a
Gemini (they like to diversify, are easily bored, and enjoy new challenges –
writing and media, especially) with the rising sign of Leo, and the Moon sign

Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Who Would Have Predicted?

2015-09-10 Thread Mike Dixon mdixon.6...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
I have no doubt that many Muslim immigrants would enjoy a more liberating
lifestyle. Hell, even the 911 terrorists watched porn, took drugs and went to
strip clubs. Can't get any more liberated and western than that! Even Osama ben
Laden had tuns of porn in his home. Western, secular culture
may permeate their lives but they are still grounded in that Islamic value
system. They feel tempted and they resent it. That's why they consider us the
great Satan. That's why they want to destroy our culture.< They will explore
and enjoy what *we have*, our freedoms, our vices, but they will always want to
return to what is pure Islam, to cleanse their souls. And that is their dharma!
Oil and water don't mix. Keep that shit over there!< No one has suggested,
except maybe you, that Muslims are going to make non- Muslims become
polygamists. However, if Americans can accept *gay* marriage*, why wouldn't
they, as Islamic Americans, be able to expect us to recognize their marriages
as defined by the Koran and Haditha? Freedom of religion, right? You suggest
that my nonacceptance of Islam is out of fear. I say it is out of wisdom.
Maharishi said "Avoid the suffering before it comes." Some roads, you just
don't travel down.

When I speak of cultural differences, I'm not talking about food or dress. I'm
speaking about  how we treat or accept others. Example: Muslims are far less
tolerant of the rights women take for granted in the west. Wife beating is
considered the norm over there, honor killings, blaspheming their religion can
cause violent reaction, etc., they tend to bring those behaviors and attitudes
with them. The taxi reference was about Drivers refusing riders that had bought
alcohol in gift and duty free shops and taking it home, sober. Taxi drivers
here, I don't know about Canada, are often called to take people home from bars
or parties in order to keep them from driving and causing accidents. It's a job
requirement,  for public safety. Many expect our society to accommodate them on
issues of this nature when it wouldn't be acceptable by our own. Should Muslim
businesses be allowed to refuse service to Gays, Lesbians or transgenders? If
so, why not Christians or Jews?More and more Muslims are demanding that we
accept Sharia law, which would definitely allow this behavior. Ready for
polygamy? Can they accept us for who we are or do they expect us to accept them
and live by their cultural standards. They come here, we didn't go there.

How about this thought: How many Muslims do you think might just decide to
adopt your values and move away from some of the more repressive practices from
"the old country"? How many women might get a glimpse of what is possible in
the west and make a break for it? And although women have tremendous freedoms
in North America we are far from having reached the optimum position as far as
equality with men as recognized in a whole slew of career scenarios. As far as
women having come towards being universally recognized and rewarded as equals
to men, there is still 50% further to go.
When you speak of polygamy you present this as if Muslims are going to start
forcing everyone in America to take multiple wives. Come on! They might want to
be allowed to practice polygamy for themselves (and they wouldn't be alone,
think of all those instances of US born and bred citizens clamoring for their
right to have multiple wives - particularly in Utah.
http://www.buzzfeed.com/jimdalrympleii/polygamy-is-legal-in-utah-for-now#.vdEEljZ6m
In short, I think you need to step back and take a good look at what already
goes on in your country acted out by red blooded Americans and notice that just
about every example you have given me has already been demonstrated by your
fellow citizens many, many times before. The difference: one group is American
and white and the other is Muslim and often of a darker skin hue.

sexist in another culture. Some can accept these differences and others can't

Then you have proved yourself a worthy and sensitive husband. Every piece of

As for me, I love my MacBook and iPads, but I still prefer Android for my phone
