As if the VFW can't call on all the branches of civil government to come and speak to Memorial Day on the town Square that they rely on these very partisan ministers to evangelize everyone else. Eventually, they get seduced into becoming terrorists and jihadists to find happiness and satisfaction by destroying the western world. Does that sound familiar? Yes, religious thinking keeps us in the dark ages, that's for sure. We should do a yagya and sort them out. It has a lot of potential for creating Jihadis for sure. But then an argument I use when people accuse me of foolish cultural equivalence is that the way Islam evolved culturally was to help families survive in a harsh environment. We criticise their controlling nature over children and in keeping wealth centrally in a family but it makes sense when you live with scarce resources, the problems come when it has to survive next to or gets translated to a modern European country and suddenly it's incompatible with how children grow up compared to their friends, and you have to compromise or face charges of cruelty in expecting your kids to happy with forced marriage etc. If there was ever an apocalypse of any sort it's the old established extended families of Islam and the type that will survive because they'll carry on unchanged. Ethical behavior. Corporate 'VW' is another good example of how ethical behavior has now become a 'leading economic indicator'. Some poor 'moral reasoning' by some and billions of dollars in the balance in the market. Given the high-speed of news in the internet era a culture of ethical standards and the consequent of both personal and corporate behavior it seems can not be ignored.
