Please see the link for this article up above. There are many people who are
looking at both sides of this problem, and hardship. It seems that there are
many issues coming up about the professors in engineering at Coimbatore. I am
not sure whether there is the same lack of care and safety for the students in
Amrita University, Kerela and each of the Universities under the name Amrita
and campuses. Please take the time to read all that is below the complaints

There are several areas that are being discussed around this and many other
issues, as it feels like one has entered a cult.

When studied piece by piece this life style with those who join the Hugging

reasons. They insult and abuse students openly, totally demoralizing them. In
fact, students are scared of the staff and don't speak out openly.

Fourth, the conditions in the hostels are deplorable, particularly in
relation to food served to inmates. Most students are forced to eat at the
canteens within the campus, paying exorbitant prices. The parents, thus, end
up paying the mess fees plus the canteen expenses!

After my visit to the university, I discovered that this is a very cleverly
planned trick, in the sense that the university makes huge profits from
leasing out the canteens. I counted at least four sprawling canteens, all
crowded all the time, and two more were under construction. Thus the reason
for the poor quality food in the hostel mess becomes obvious.

I write this letter to caution parents to be vigilant. Please do not pay any

Subject: Haiti relief effort through the Marians PLEASE FORWARD

Dear Marian Helper,

The Holy Father and leaders from around the world are urging people to come to
the aid of the people of Haiti, the Caribbean nation devastated by an
earthquake on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

The Marians are asking you to pray — particularly to pray the Chaplet of The
Divine Mercy for those trapped, injured, homeless, and dying — and to please
give whatever financial assistance you can to relief efforts.

The full 100% of Haiti relief donations made through the Marians will be sent
to Catholic Relief Services, which has mobilized an immediate aid response to
Haiti in the form of food and supplies.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration of how you can help.

Yours in the Merciful Savior,
Father Joseph, MIC

[FairfieldLife] Letter to Swami Ramakrishna and the Bramachari, director of connectone.in

2010-01-14 Thread gita...@sbcglobal.net

Dear all,

This letter was sent to Swami Ramakrishna, at Amritapuri one of Ammachi's head
Swami's. Many questions and sharing about what has been recently published in
several resources on the internet.
S

Dear Swami Ramakrishna, (RE: New Business vs. Entrepreneur)

Many are truly troubled in the West and in India by what they are seeing at
Amritapuri. It is hard to see what others see when you live a confined life. We
desperately need to be attending to the hungry and the poor. If you have any
ability at all to share our concerns with Ammachi please do so. I wish I could
give more and I give as much as I can. I would be considered impoverished by
what I have and how I live in the US. But I do sponsor a poor child from the
Dominican Republic through Children International. Even if Amma chose to help
1000-2000 of these children it would make a huge difference in the world.

There are many that are truly heartbroken to see what has happened to Ammachi
and her organization many feel she is not using her life appropriately and in
truth. I know this would seem astonishing as so many thousands come.

This is in response to the new program Ammachi has implemented at Amrita
University School of Engineering to encourage and groom venture capitalists and
entrepreneurs. It would be good to see that Ammachi is encouraging new
businesses that will help the poor and hungry in India, rather then these other
words which focus on encouraging others to come to Amritapuri and work on ways
to create wealth and do not seem to take into account the need for Ammachi to
be focusing on the charity she so often asks for during her touring.

Please help us redirect Ammachi and her fame and power to that of truly serving
poverty and hunger in the world. The devotees have truly gotten all they will
ever need to get from Ammachi as a Master. A true Master (Raja Yoga, Sufi) lets
go after a maximum of 10 years and then allows the disciple to go out in the
world and truly serve. As far as a Sannyasin I do not know what the alternative
would be.

Please help us here, we see things have gone out of control with Ammachi's
organization. We no not want to be disrespectful, but the world needs so much
more, as the hungry and impoverished, and so much less of what Ammachi is doing
traveling around the world selling things and making money. She should not be
encouraging people to leave their lives and families to travel with her. People
are scrambling around trying to earn money to keep up with touring. Let them
serve their communities and have the freedom to serve other charity's around
the world that are in need, as we are hearing that Ammachi's charity drive is
actually taking away opportunity's for many other charities.

There is a link to the SRF Walrus that has many interesting messages from
Borg108, and many others. It is very worthwhile to read the message about the
consultant and the AIMS incident (see below) and the claims of false charity.
Many of Ammachi's non-profits are being run very poorly or only for profit.
There are messages by two other people who have spent time at many other
ashrams in India, which are run for free, and do not ask for any money for
people to stay in them. Borg108 also mentions that Guru's in India are not
supposed to ask for donations, especially during pujas, they are supposed to
wait and allow God to care for their needs. Borg108 was in India on an Indian
tour at this time and partaking in the planetary puja which required one to pay
and many of the poor Indian's who truly needed the assistance of this puja
could not afford to be part of this puja.

Borg108 was told by an Indian woman on this tour that Ammachi had asked her to
yell all children without fathers get back on the bus! Which in reality,
shared the woman, was her translation of Ammachi yelling all you bastards get
back on the bus!

In peace (Please see the letter I wrote to the Director of Connectone as well
below.)

My brother is well aware of the two men you chose as Amrita friends- The Indus
Entrepreneurs - One started Exodus, the other Hot-mail. (Their extreme wealth
is very well known). It seems that Amma is leveraging a bit here. And the
slick approach is to use the term Entrepreneur. Which means wealth for the sake
of wealth. We also get the picture that Amma is trying to rebuild India with
Western funding.

Now even more so to draw Western funding to India. We hope that it is to
further help the poor in India find better opportunities to live and work. Lets
hope these young and budding venture capitalists and entrepreneurs want to help
the poor and down trodden as it will do no good at all if we create another

Dear Members,

The Bramachari that was spoken about in this post is Kamal Bijlani, information
about his work can be found when you go to the website www.connectone.in And
the Amritapuri School of Engineering.

It is a website encouraging the grooming of all Entrepreneurs and Venture
Capitalists in India, they are trying to network with other wealthy Venture
Capitalists around the globe to ensure the success of Indias new Entrepreneurs
and directly related to Amrita University School of Engineering. My earlier
questions to this monk and the others working on this program are what does
this have to do with renunciation? What does this have to do with The Hugging
Saint's teaching of charity and living lives as renunciates in poverty? I
received no answer.
