Luckily here in little old Canada I have an extended medical plan through the business I own which means I only pay for 15% of my dental bills unless it is something like a crown in which case I pay 50%. This dentist's prices are good, and he gives a 20% discount for cash. I think being in a small town helps too. I rarely go to either a dentist or doctor - maybe every five years, or less, so it works out pretty cheaply for me.
