Today I spoke to an aquaintence of mine who happens to be a serious
Kabbalist, not part of the Hollywood crowd. He told me a story
about how
after WW2 as young child, he had a wealthy benefactor who brought
him to
study in England. Some years passed by, in 1960 or thereabouts the
benefactor frequently invited Swamis and Gurus to his estate for
various
functions. One night my friend attended a dinner with two Gurus.
He sat
across from both of them. He noticed that the Gurus were having a
very
heated argument, so much so that one of the Gurus named Maharishi
Mahesh
Yogi, poured soup over Krishnamurti's head!
My friend really had no idea who these two were at the time, but he
said it
was quite amusing. He didn't have anything to say after that.
The only time I heard that Krishnamurti met MMY was when they both
happened to be on an airplane and MMY requested a visit and asked
Krishnamurti for help setting up the TM organization which
Krishnamurti gracefully declined to give.
