Richard, imho a home theater should be snack friendly. I realize that the 
Romans loved to lounge and munch, but I personally find upright seating better 
for eating popcorn, Raisinets, etc. And definitely better for imbibing Mug Root 
Beer (caffeine free), Aquafina, etc.

details. I went to Haverty's Online and designed this chair for the viewing
room - that pretty much says it all. Maybe I should design a love seat for
me and Rita. Now that's better!

good panel HD set, a Blu-Ray player with wifi and maybe a Chromecast or 
a Roku box.  But then don't forget the surround system with good 
speakers.  I have a set of Klipsch speakers.  Oh and you have to have a 
house so the subwoofer doesn't disturb neighbors.


If the chair is too comfy at our age we'll never finish a show snore.

15 years ago a home theater was the domain of the yuppies and uber 
rich.  Nowadays anyone can afford a home theater especially if you cut 
the cable so you aren't paying those exorbitant monthly cable TV fees.  
Without that in a few months you've paid off all that gear.


But you're an old fart, Alex, according to the kids who prefer to watch 
shows on their 5 phones and not 85 TVs.


BTW, when is Amazon delivering that 85 set to you?
