Anything to escape that nagging sense of futility and failure, eh?

Which does he prefer?

:-)

Sorry, couldn't resist. I just watched the
"Bitches" episode of "Pushing Daisies."

BTW, Stu, if you're out there lurking, the
visuals from "Spellbound" were wonderful.
Did you do those?

Speaking of wonderful, this episode of
"Pushing Daisies" was brought to me by the
magic of Miro, which my brother the nerd
turned me on to. As a user interface, it's
Pretty Damned Good, and as a client for
keeping up with video, both from television
and other Net sources, as far as I can tell
it can't be beat. It's best for automatically
downloading the latest episodes of shows you
like to see; its very design (automatically
deleting shows you've watched after a few
days to save disk space) means that it's not
as good for finding older episodes. But it
pretty much rocks, otherwise. I don't have
to do a thing any more...just check out Miro
and there are my TV series, ready to be
watched, just like Tivo. Allows you to download
"keepable" versions of hi-res YouTube videos
and watch them hi-res, too, which YouTube doesn't.
