The earth is 15 years from a mini ice-age that will cause bitterly cold
winters during which rivers such as the Thames freeze over, scientists have
predicted.

A rant by Cenk that nails it about Obama's intent to sign the Defense

I suppose the War Monger is happy now that we can round up all the non-whites.
If so, FUCK YOU WILLY!

If the military thinks IEDs were bad in Iraq I can just imagine what
angry Americans will cook up.

[FairfieldLife] Goodbye Iraq

This is good news for the US Army and the Obama Administration. But can the
Iraqi Army take on the burden of defending its own country?

[FairfieldLife] Goodbye

2008-11-14 Thread Dick Richardson

Goodbye. May all your troubles be smaller to you than you are to
yourselves. Keep at it and you might become decent human beings one day.
Albeit plainly not in this lifetime. But feint heart never won fair
lady, so keep at it. I know you will miss me when I am gone for you
will have to find somebody else to hate and sound off your hooters to,
but there you go, such is life eh – and some of the natives here.
Not a pretty sight.

[FairfieldLife] Goodbye to the anti-science crowd her on FFL

2007-12-21 Thread off_world_beings
Goodbye to the anti-science crowd her on FFL. I have no intention of
conversing with anti-science fundamentalists on the topic of science.

People like Curt, Lurk, Turq., Peter, Boo, Sal, Doug, Vaj, and
others, are anti-science, just like Jerry Falwell, Ted Haggard,
George Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Billy Graham, and they want to take us
back to the dark ages. I consider them a low-life because I believe
in research published in respected peer-reviwed scientific journals
for the 21st century, and I will not converse with anti-science
freaks on the topic of science.

The 21st century has left you anti-science fundamentalists behind and
I will not coverse nor hold council with any of you Neandherthals if
you cannot state here clearly: Only research published in respected
peer-reviewed scientific journals is valid in the 21st century.

If you do not state this, then you are an anti-science fundamentlaist
who wants to take us back to the dark ages like Billy Graham, Rupert
Murdoch and Osama Bin Laden, and rational people do not engage in
discussion with those who want to destroy logic and reasoning.

Watch now as the anti-scientists engage in a smear campaign, instead
of discussing the point that only research published in respected
peer-reviewed scientific journals is valid in the 21st century (I for
one, have no problem which way it goes, as long as it is properly
peer-reviewed).

Those of you who are NOT anti-science, and are interested in human
behaviour, now watch as you will see the typical beviour of the anti-
scientist who will try to smear the person, instead of deal with the
point. It will be interesting to watch.

I will not converse with these anti-science people if they cannot
state here clearly: Only research published in respected peer-
reviewed scientific journals is valid in the 21st century, so then
they can enjoy their Neanderthal world along with Ted Haggard, Jerry
Falwell, Osama Bin Laden, And George Bush.
