Following some IMDB links for Catriona Balfe (gorgeous star of the STARZ series "Outlander"), I discovered a SciFi Web series I'd never heard of, produced by Bryan Singer (producer of House, the X-Men movies, The Usual Suspects, etc.). It's odd, and I'm not sure it's really any good, but I pass it along because it's free (it's available on YouTube), each episode is short (5-6 minutes or so), and its subject matter might appeal to some here who are all a-feared of modern technology and what robotics and cybernetics might do to us. Here's the blurb from Wikipedia:
The series is based on a future where one-third of the world's population has an implanted computer, named H+, which connects the human mind to the Internet 24 hours a day. The implant was created by a company called Hplus Nano Teoranta, an Irish biotechnology company founded with the intent of improving the medical sector with technology. The story begins in medias res, depicting the effects of a virus which infects the H+ implant. Concurrent episodes go back and forward in time to different settings, and various characters' viewpoints are used to tell the story.
