Wind power may be good in rural communities since there won't be too many people complaining about the noise from the wind propellers. But there may be environmental concerns, such as the killing of birds from the spinning of the propellers. I've read that this is a common occurrence in the wind propellers at Altamont Pass near Livermore, CA.
