Yep--Late '70's/early '80's. Winter in Waverly, MO - 40 below - working
outside, sleeping in an unheated garage, with a barrel of coal to keep warm -
unheated showers, with taped pipes to keep it at 32. Always slept fully
clothed, boots, down jacket and sleeping bag. Now THAT was cold!
