Interesting article.  Maharishi bought for a time a huge landholding in Brazil. 
 It came with the farms, cities, utilities, equipment, and the people there.  
As it happened they planted an incredible number of acres in to soybeans and 
made a handsome profit on the sizable operating capital that was put in to it 
by the movement.

This was about the time Maharishi bought an Island off the coast of Brazil too.

Projects like these down there overworked and overtaxed the TM movement then 
and tore it apart in using people up.
