I understand what Barry wrote and why he wrote it. I do not understand
you.
It sounds kind of complicated what Barry did - posting a joke and then
escalating it to the point where he may have put his whole family in
actual danger, just so he could lord over everyone here with the threat
of police action if they don't like what he said. It's the ultimate
thought-stopper.
I'm not at all against a neighborhood watch and reporting perverts in
the playground, but social media is probably not the place to trick us
by planting false flags just to get angry responses.
As for me, it's not very complicated. It was kind of funny and it is fun
to quote people in order to point out their cognitive dissonance,
especially when they attack me for no apparent reason or because of my
