So... I see a name change for the Republican Party in the near future. It will
go from being called the GOP to being relabled as the GrOPe.

Now, wait a second Ann, I agree with you up to you last sentence. Are you
saying Hillary was entitled to take her hurt out on those who accused Bill of
rape and sexual harassment? To head a task force to attempt to discredit them?

I hope that is not what you are saying.

You do realize, don't you, boys, that what Trump was boasting about on that
tape was not just misogyny, not just crude locker-room talk, but *criminal
sexual assault*.

In many if not most states, kissing someone or touching their genital area
without their consent is sexual battery, punishable by jail time.

The flaccidity of your attempted defense of the presidential candidate you

You can't come back from this. It's a permanent stain on your character.

any way aberrational or clinical to these guys. It is simply normal man

Oh, they aren't related. Bill Clinton raped or exposed himself to numerous

actions speak louder than words?

You sound like Michelle Bachmann today on CNN - avoiding the subject altogether

This is why this is so interesting - this T.rump phenomenon - it brings out

You do realize, don't you, boys, that what Trump was boasting about on that
tape was not just misogyny, not just crude locker-room talk, but *criminal
sexual assault*.

In many if not most states, kissing someone or touching their genital area
without their consent is sexual battery, punishable by jail time.

The flaccidity of your attempted defense of the presidential candidate you

thinking necessary to distinguish facts from malicious smears. All this crap
about Hillary's alleged misdeeds is part of the compendium of smears from the
right-wingers who have been trying desperately to bring her down for decades.

Nobody here said, by the way, that "sex between Bill Clinton and Monica
Lewinsky was simply sex between two consenting adults with no other dynamics at
play." Stevie-poo missed the point completely (but then he had to in order to
mount a defense of Trump).

Obviously she's really scared and upset about this - how in the world
could Trump, the brash boy-man, get this far to challenge Hillary
Clinton? She is owed this one - it's her her turn to sit in the oval
office!

It's just outrageous - Hillary should have be ahead in the polls by at
least 95% by now. The Democratic Party is reaching for straws now -
panic mode is really setting in as we close in on the final days of
the election.

However, this isn't the October surprise - that will come in a few
more days. My guess is that a special prosecutor will be appointed to
investigate the cover-up by the Justice Department and the FBI in the
Clinton email scandal.

2016-10-08 Thread olliesed...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
I am more than willing to address the candidates' issues, in a balanced way.

On the one hand is an oaf who, for starters, refuses to release his tax
returns. Refuses to, after every major candidate in the last 40 years has done
it. Many just shrug and say, 'oh that's Trump, just being Trump'. Same with him
suggesting Hillary could be shot, same with his dangerous flip flops on major
policy issues, and utter lack of interest or experience in public service, 'oh
he will surround himself with good people'. Same with his admissions of sexual
assault, 'oh, its just locker room banter'.

On the other hand, Clinton's entire *life* is somehow seen as a legal
deposition, with every 'i' dotted and 't' crossed, held up to the strictest
legal and moral scrutiny.

What a bunch of bullshit, Steve. Not much more to add.

I am not sure why we are talking about Hillary's husband - he isn't running.
Let's stay focused and compare candidate to candidate. Frankly I am amazed that
any man or woman could ever excuse or qualify Trump's words, once again. Rather

I knew that if I posted the story about the disgusting Trump tape, the men here
(with the exception of Ollie) would disgrace themselves by attempting to defend
Trump and demean Hillary. It was guaranteed. There's no need to argue with
them; they make an airtight case for their moral/ethical corruption, misogyny,
and Hillary Derangement Syndrome all by themselves.

Very disappointing, but to be expected.

Ironically, as the other article I posted documents, all the high-profile
Republicans in DC and elsewhere understand what a disaster the tape is and how
contemptible Trump has proved himself to be.

The only GOPers who haven't chimed in to forcefully condemn Trump are Sean
Hannity of Fox News and a handful of hypocritical evangelicals (!). Those are
the folks with whom our boys here have aligned themselves.

Most normal human beings would be embarrassed to cut such a person any slack,
let alone attempt to defend him.

I'm pretty sure they don't get it, Judy. Apparently the idea of having the
right to grab other people's genitals or that someone considers their status so
powerful that the female world is fodder for their sexual impulses is not in
any way aberrational or clinical to these guys. It is simply normal man
behavior - no more harmful than the playful bantering of children on a
playground. Maybe they are lucky enough to never have been sexually molested or
taken advantage of in their lives or maybe they just don't take the subject
seriously enough for it to override their need to goad those who find Trump's
behavior and attitude abhorrent. Either way, it shows you what is driving some

Bill Clinton's affair with Monica was consensual. She didn't sue him for

In most states in this country, kissing someone or grabbing their genitals for

It is funny how karma works. Trump the rapist has been making shit up about

It is pathetic - I turned on the TV, and this wretched rapist is 'apologizing'
in the most schoolboy of ways, blaming others and claiming HE HAS CHANGED. What
bullshit. This woman hater's defeat may be the most decisive yet, in terms of
electoral votes. Here's hoping he walks in front of a bus soon.

There might, just might, be justice in this world, this universe, after all.
This one isolated tape of one of the, no doubt, thousands of incidents in
Trump's sorry and sordid life might be enough to dump him in the cesspool he
belongs in. But when you think of Trump's lifetime of this kind of thing it is
mind-boggling. Someone on CNN last night said Trump should release all of his
employees from their non-disclosure contracts and see the avalanche of sexual
charges making themselves known to the world. What is amazing to me that this
tape is surprising to anyone. Are people so blind that couldn't figure this guy
out months ago?

Either way, it shows you what is driving some
of America right now.

There is justification in numbers? What exactly are you saying? You sound like

Bill Clinton's affair with Monica was consensual. She didn't sue him for

In most states in this country, kissing someone or grabbing their genitals for

And nobody's cutting Clinton any slack for his philandering. But Clinton's

Lame? So mention Monica Lewinsky but leave out the woman Bill Clinton actually
raped, not to mention the accusations of groping by numerous others, and the
veracity of these claims challenged by Hillary. And this is the candidate who
claims to be a champion of women's rights? This is political expediency and
nothing more. Have the intestinal fortitude to call it for what it is.

Your comments, as is often the case are the ploys of a partisan, who claims to
be purveyor of truth but in actuality is pretty much just a shrill.

Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Trump brags about groping women

2016-10-08 Thread olliesed...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
It is funny how karma works. Trump the rapist has been making shit up about
Hillary the entire time he has been running, in compensation for an absolute
vacuum of new ideas in that dim head of his. Now, it bites Trump in the butt.

Either way, it shows you what is driving some
of America right now.

2016-10-08 Thread anon_alias
The tip of the iceberg.

Even if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency she will eventually go down in
flames, if not by a Special Prosecutor and/or by Vladimir Putin. Neither
Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump are qualified to be Commander-in-Chief of the
United States military. That's a given.

Our only real hope, as I see it, is to get down on your hands and knees and
pray to the gods for safety.

Then, work toward making Russia, China and Iran go broke by U.S. energy
independence to bring down the price of oil. The way to win the war is to apply
economics - nothing talks like money and food in peoples' mouth. When the food
riots start, a change in government is to be expected.

This is simply the tip of the iceberg. Nothing revealed in this tape surprised

caught on videotape the guy would have been in jail decades ago. What is more
interesting is to see what other people do with this now. Who are hypocrites,
who are self serving and who are simply morally bereft enough to think it no
big deal? Trump is a lost cause, a waste of skin, a two-bit player who has been
a slime his entire adult life and perhaps earlier. He is simply some catalyst
to see how America actually thinks and acts when faced with someone like him.

It's just outrageous - Hillary should have be ahead in the polls by at least

However, this isn't the October surprise - that will come in a few more days.

Either way, it shows you what is driving some
of America right now.

Oh my Gawd! Trump once said something tawdry!

"Only amid the most bizarre, most tawdry, most addictive election campaign in
memory could the real story of 2016 be so effectively obliterated, namely, that
with just four months left in the Obama presidency, its two central pillars are
collapsing before our eyes: domestically, its radical reform of American health
care, aka Obamacare; and abroad, its radical reorientation of American foreign
policy — disengagement marked by diplomacy and multilateralism."

This is simply the tip of the iceberg. Nothing revealed in this tape surprised
me even one tiny bit. Trump is an open book and if a tenth of his life were
caught on videotape the guy would have been in jail decades ago.

"Locker room banter," of course, isn't the point. That's just an exceptionally
lame--and supremely hypocritical--attempt to defend the indefensible.

This, as I've already said, is about Trump boasting of his right as a
celebrity to commit *criminal sexual assault* any time he wants and get away
with it.

Bill Clinton's affair with Monica was consensual. She didn't sue him for
sexual harassment (let alone sexual assault) because she wouldn't have had a
chance of winning.

In most states in this country, kissing someone or grabbing their genitals for
sexual gratification without their consent is a crime subject to jail time.

And nobody's cutting Clinton any slack for his philandering. But Clinton's
sins have nothing whatsoever to do with this. Trump's is a whole other order of
misbehavior toward women.

Now, boys, as you are very well aware, nobody is talking about saints or church
ladies.

We're talking about the difference between normal if imperfect human beings,
and an aggressive sexual predator who brags that his celebrity gives him the
right to commit criminal sexual assault whenever he feels like it.

Most normal human beings would be embarrassed to cut such a person any slack,
let alone attempt to defend him.

You do realize, don't you, boys, that what Trump was boasting about on that
tape was not just misogyny, not just crude locker-room talk, but *criminal
sexual assault*.

In many if not most states, kissing someone or touching their genital area
without their consent is sexual battery, punishable by jail time.

The flaccidity of your attempted defense of the presidential candidate you
support would be hilarious if it weren't such a vile manifestation of rape
culture.

You can't come back from this. It's a permanent stain on your character.
