Vedanta and the Divine Feminine
Research Paper to Be Presented
Saturday, October 5 at 2 pm Festival Hall

Dr. Candace Badgett, International Trustee of the Women's Wing of the TM
organization, was recently invited to present her paper, Vedanta and the Divine
Feminine, at the World Association of Vedic Sciences (WAVES) conference at the
University of Massachusetts. This presentation locates the seat of the Divine
Feminine and traces its essential role in the process of apprehending the true
nature of life, and the possibilities for every woman.

The enthusiastic response to the talk has inspired a 2014 conference
collaboration between WAVES and Global Mother Divine Organization and MUM.

Dr. Badgett will be presenting this paper to University students , faculty ,
staff and community members onSaturday, October 5, at 2:00 pm, in Festival
Hall in the Argiro Student Center. This event is sponsored by the MUM Women's
Institute

2013-10-01 Thread Michael Jackson
Thank you for this inspiring alert about Mother Divine attempting to weasel
their way into other Vedic organizations, but I assure you the association will
not last long.

When WAVES finds out how absurdly arrogant these people are, particularly when
they discover the insistence on everything being Marshy Vedic this and that,
and that ONLY the TMO and all its branches have a lock on REAL Vedic knowledge,
the WAVES will part company with the TMO forthwith.

I quote the WAVES purpose WAVES is a non-religious society with no ideology.
whereas the TMO is a Marshy Hindu religious organization with a hell of an
agenda, to wit, that everyone bow to the Movement and credit it with whatever
good happens in the world including the non-existent world peace and salvation
the world was promised but never received.

Yeah, you really told off Dick Mays! He's probably one of the first
subscribers on this list. Go figure.

You've given countless others a reason to avoid this place because of
your flame war against the TMO. It's starting to look like the cesspool
of Yahoo Groups. Go figure. You're doing a pretty good job of trashing
this group for no apparent good reason. Maybe it's time to take another
look at the FFL Guidelines about posting flames to the group. What would
it take for you to be civil to respondents who actually post TMO news to
this group? You're beginning to sound like someone that got spanked real
hard when you were just a baby. LoL!

Re: [FairfieldLife] Vedanta and the Divine Feminine

2013-10-01 Thread Michael Jackson
I don't know why you characterize it as flaming - I'm just stating my opinion.
And there are more than enough people here on FFL as well as outside of FFL who
know exactly what I am talking about.

To wit: the TMO has ALWAYS taken a superior attitude, claiming that marshy knew
it all, his take on anything vedic was the correct one, he was the ONLY
spiritual teacher in all of India who had the enlightened awareness to bring
forth the full potential of natural law from any and all parts of the vedas.
And since his word on the various aspects of the vedas always supported him
being big cheese and getting all the money, that means the other vedic
authorities are wrong.

An example would be the old goat's assertion that south facing entrances are
wholly and always negative when other authorities on vastu veda say in their
material that this is incorrect.

On a larger scale, if you ever had any dealings with the Movement, you know
damn good and well that the Movement always builds itself up at the expense of
everything and everyone else. They have never been interested in sharing, or
creating coalitions to promote anything other than TM. That is the reason that
the TMO has never done anything to promote ayurveda with other organizations
like Vasant Lad's outfit.

As I have stated here on FFL I have spoken with people who attempted to create
a cooperative effort between Chopra's people and the Movement to promote
ayurveda and to have the TMO and Lad's people work together and the TMO
rebuffed both parties.

They had no interest in promoting ayurveda with others because it did not
glorify the TMO, nor would they get near as much money out of it as they would
if the other parties would slap both sides of their own heads as they said
Lawdy Mercy! Massa Marshy done come up wid a betta kind-a aya-veda! Les all do
TM and forget traditional ayurveda in favor of the yuppie with money version
the TMO created!

In the same vein I assure you that the only reason MD is approaching these
folks is NOT to learn from WAVES, nor promote vedic culture in concert with
them, but to get WAVES all practicing TMSP and eventually to make WAVES a
subsidiary of the TMO. That's the way they function, always have and always
will.

If you choose not to believe it, perhaps you should consider taking a course at
your local community college on not being so gullible.
