You have probably have received a mailing from Alliant in the past few days.. There is some information in the mailing that is confusing and can possibly mislead you. We have contacted the IUB to protest the mailing rhetoric and are waiting for a response which we expect in the next few days. We suggest that you delay any response directly to Alliant until we have further clarification from the IUB. However, we do suggest that you immediately file a complaint to the IUB at the following link. Please let them know any of the ways in which you have found the Alliant mailing to be confusing, inaccurate or misleading A few quick notes: 1. You have the right to keep your Analog (if you already have one on your house) 2. If you already have a non-radiating digital, you may keep it 3. The low radiating smart meters, still radiate multiple times per month as reported by Alliant,, they still can be hacked, they still present a fire hazard, they still profile you and invade privacy, and during cross-examination in the August 2019 Hearing, Alliant refused to agree that they will keep the number of radiation pulses low in the years to come (ie. they can increase the number of RF signals at any time). 4 In addition to the radiation that smart meters emit as referenced above, they also communicate to smart appliances and can likely be upgraded to communicate with 5G.
