MMY once said, "Everybody's inner being is pure happiness", that is the soul. In Yoga it is called the "Ananda-maya-kosha" or bliss covering of the Self (Brahman). As the word suggests the soul is still maya (or duality, illusion) though sattvic (pure)it is not the ultimate Reality but is bound by time and space, only the one eternal Being is beyond the time/space illusion (which is called maya or lila-shakti, or the play of nature in Indian Philosophy).
As MMY said, "CC is a milestone on the path of evolution" but it is only the beginning (paraphrased). Even God in his *personal* manifestation is limited by time and space or the Manvantara (age of man) ending in the pralaya, or the dissolution of all creation back into the ONE or the impersonal, unmanifest aspect of the Creator.
