Google has so many projects that I never even heard of iGoogle. :-D

The Chrome browser will certainly not effected. It is a popular browser
on a number of platforms. Google has gone a little social networking
crazy too with things like Google+ which I don't have time for. I guess
most people don't work anymore but just do social net working.

But it doesn't appear that the Chrome browser will be affected. I
certainly hope so since Chrome is the only way for me to read the
messages on any Yahoo groups.

I can tell it is a Web 2.0 redesign and set up to accommodate mobile
devices better which is growing while PC use is diminishing. I can't
get Neo when I'm logged in so have no experience of it as a user just a
visitor. This design is also used on their other sites like Yahoo
News. Neo locks up with the Android version of Chrome but it's okay on
Linux. Looking at Neo page source there is a lot of stuff that usually
would be hidden by keeping the Javascript and CSS on the server side so
it's a beta at the moment.

That's nice to know. But that brings the question of why Yahoo is
still playing with this Neo debacle which doesn't work with my Windows
7 version.

I have the feeling Yahoo wants us to use the very latest version of
Windows, which I have not downloaded so far.

In the end, Yahoo has only shown that Chrome is the most effective and
advanced browser around IMO.
