And to think this is one of Obama's next big move, look at what he's done to our Health Care system. He should have fought for single payer, which is what he wanted in the first place. Even if we spend BILLIONS on climate change, the effect is marginal, at best. It is if we do dumb things like plant more corn to produce ethanol, but if we mounted a moonshot effort to develop intelligent, sustainable technologies, it would be great for the economy, and would change the politics of the middle east. If we factored military and environmental costs into fossil fuel energies, their cost would be prohibitive and would make sustainable energies very competitive.
