Doug booted them, nobody else did so they could "now have FFL to yourself,
without the people you dislike.” I believe that’s called a red herring. As
far as anyone else here is concerned, I’m pretty sure most would not object to
their coming back. I know I wouldn’t. It would be fascinating, in fact, to
see how long they’d last.

Why do these off-the-cuff remarks bother you so much? There’s always the
delete button you know.

[FairfieldLife] Trump's cry for help

2016-01-26 Thread emily.ma...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
I think Stephen Colbert is right on the money here. Trump is begging for
someone to take him down; he knows (if only subconsciously) that he doesn't
have what it takes to be President. The required sacrifices and compromises
aren't ones he wants to make or would even be able to make. As a megalomaniac,
he would destroy everything he laid a hand on. He's far too self-centered to
"serve" this country; his statements show a deep contempt for all, even those
that support him. Internally, he's saying..."Look at me, I'm so great, these
*fools* would even elect *me* to be president, unqualified as I am. Is there
anyone that can beat me, take me down?"

I agree with you on this. On the other side of the political spectrum, I think
Bernie's popularity is partly of a similar tone. Bernie has been honest about
the need for a "revolution" (e.g., remaking the face of Congress).

 Donald isn't the guy for the job though.  He's an exceedingly lonely guy;
"it's lonely at the top." The more he feeds his desperation, the lonelier and
more removed from reality he gets.
