By Dr. David Leffler 19-10-14 Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Ankara supports the idea of establishing a "safe zone and a no-fly zone" in northern Syria along the Turkish border. Over the years "no-fly zones" have gained worldwide attention. Their goal is often to set up a "demilitarized zone in the sky" where military aircraft are hampered from conducting military operations. While a no-fly zone might potentially save lives and prevent property damage, an ideal "safe zone" could be created if a "Yogic-Flying Zone" staffed with military Invincible Defense Technology (IDT) experts was established (see this article originally published in Pakistan Defense available at: http://www.davidleffler.com/pakistan-defence-create-an-international-military-yogic-flying-zone.pdf for more information). Such a scientifically-validated defense strategy would protect Turkey by preventing hostility and conflict before they arise both within and outside the country. Conventional military approaches such as no-fly zones are based largely on conjecture, and such is their outcome. These approaches largely lack a statistical guarantee of success of where leaders can confidently assert "yes, our military plan will definitely work." Obviously, it is a dangerous time in the Middle East. This is why it is particularly risky to base one's military plans on guesswork, as a massive firestorm could erupt. A statistical guarantee of stability, based on empirical evidence, is only attainable with the advanced military technology, "Invincible Defense Technology." The IDT approach to defense has its basis in a radically new preventive model, that has been thoroughly field-tested in numerous world battlegrounds – resulting in rapid reduction of individual, societal and national collective stress. Its methods have been proven and adopted as part of the training of America's future commanders at Norwich University, a nationally respected military academy, the oldest military academy in the USA (see also the YouTube video "Meditation Improves Performance at Military University"). IDT is further validated by 23 peer-reviewed studies carried out in both developed and developing nations. IDT is totally unlike any other defense technology because it does not use violence in an attempt to quell violence. It is a much more civilized approach, worthy of nations that abhor violence as a means to power. IDT uniquely goes directly to the root cause of violence - the built-up stress in the individual and collective consciousness. High levels of collective societal stress are the underlying cause of all war, violence, crime and terrorism. When the IDT methodology is applied, stress levels throughout the population are rapidly reduced. In an environment of lowered stress even staunch adversaries find ways to work together, cooperate and overcome long-standing differences. IDT - Using the Transcendental Meditation® and advanced TM-Sidhi program to create a Prevention Wing of the Military The IDT soldier's daily routine includes the practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique and its advanced TM-Sidhi program. As a societal coherence-creating military unit, they practice these technologies of consciousness twice a day, seven days a week, to create an invincible level of orderliness for their nation. This invincible orderliness prevents the outburst of violence and other forms of social disorderliness - crime, terrorism, insurgency, and war. This is the professional career of members of the IDT Prevention Wing of the Military. Rapid Transformation to Peace, Progress and Prosperity with the IDT Approach Such coherence-creating groups have achieved positive benefits to society, shown statistically, in even just 48 hours. The IDT approach has been used during wartime resulting in the reduction of fighting, number of deaths and casualties, and an improvement in progress toward resolving the conflict peacefully. The war in Lebanon in 1983 was dramatically impacted in a peaceful way with an IDT Intervention Group. A thoroughly documented study of this phenomenon was published in the Journal of Conflict Resolution and summaries of follow-up studies in the Journal of Social Behavior and Personality and the Journal of Scientific Exploration. Documented Transformation in Mozambique In 1992, the Mozambique military carefully analyzed the IDT research and decided to apply it. As predicted, violence disappeared by 1993 and Mozambique became more self-sufficient. The economic growth reached 19%. Once the poorest world country in 1992, by 2000 it had moved up to be the world's fastest-growing economy. Former Mozambique President Joaquim Alberto Chissano, who learned Transcendental Meditation himself, introduced it to his cabinet and then the armed forces. With 19 years of civil war and drought ended, President Chissano was the first to credit IDT for his country's transformation. President Chissano was awarded the inaugural Ibrahim Prize in recognition of the unprecedented positivity that manifested throughout Mozambique under his wise guidance. CONCLUSION Albert Einstein is famously quoted as saying, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Using violence to quell violence ultimately just ratchets up the spiral of violence. Leaders like foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu should be wary of repeating and intensifying the same old cycle of violence by attempting violent confrontation. They now have a chance to create real and permanent Middle East stability - lasting peace and prosperity for the entire region, resolving centuries-old divisions between cultures and nations. When Turkey's military adopts IDT, it will become even more powerful and respected worldwide because it will introduce to the world a humane and non-violent means to create international law and order, not through fear-based methods, but through peaceful means. IDT defense technology supersedes all other known defense technologies (which are based on electronic, chemical, and/or nuclear forces). These fear-based modalities are ultimately self-destructive for any nation, and for the human race as a whole, and must be replaced with IDT. So far, IDT seems to be the only known, proven constructive approach. Application of IDT long-term results in genuine mutual reconciliation and friendship in the place of hatred and conflict. The military that deploys this powerful human-resource-based technology disallows negative trends and prevents enemies from arising. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A nation with no enemies is a nation that is truly invincible. Lasting peace is easily obtainable if Turkey establishes Prevention Wings of the Military. They will ease high tensions, reverse centuries of mistrust and hatred, and permanently prevent future unrest. Extensive scientific research empirically shows, yes, the approach works. If implemented now in Turkey the whole Middle East will benefit. Wisdom says, act now and prevent the dangers that have not yet come. Let not Turkey be dragged into the quagmire of an endless, intractable conflict to the detriment of populations of the entire region. Time is running out. The best time to act is now before the situation implodes.
