[FairfieldLife] Re: Does Consciousness Collapse the Wave Function?

As I said in the previous post, I am using the Copenhagen Interpretation in
quantum physics and not the other assumptions, such as the Many Worlds theory
or Bohm's assumption. As such, I have shown a practical and common sense
solution to determine the consciousness of animals. For example, the
double-slit experiment shows that humans can collapse the wave function by
observation alone. This is shown in the experiment by installing an electron
counter at the slits. The observation will not work if the counter is not
turned ON. As such, the experiment will show a diffraction pattern indicating
that the wave form of the electrons have gone through the slits.

If the electron counter IS turned ON, the experiment will show an intense
bright light behind the slits, indicating that the particle form of the
electrons have passed through the slits.

To test the animals' consciousness, each of the rooster, monkey and ape should
perform the same test as the human would perform. If they cannot perform the
test, even for the simple reason of not knowing how to turn ON the electron
counter, then the experiment will show that these animals do not possess the
consciousness that would collapse the wave function.

If you disagree, you should show us a video to show that these animals were
able to perform the experiment without human assistance. If you don't have a
video, you should show us scientific report stating that these animals can
collapse the wave function.

Your statement that animals can't collapse the wave function is false.
Between your statements and Wikipedia, I'll go by Wiki.
Among 8 principle "Collapse of the Wave function" (enter into Wiki), 4 assume
it (but do not prove it); while 4 render it redundant and/or unnecessary.

The first part of your paragraph seems to suggest that you "KNOW' that
roosters can't collapse wave functions and that only humans can. Yet I find no
corroboration for this anywhere. What's your reference, apart from you're
pulling ridiculous statements out of the top of your head.?? Why not chimps.
What sets Chimps apart from humans in regard to collapsing wave functions?
What is the distinctive property of humans (and not chimps), that makes humans
unique in this regard? Be specific.
So far, the only corroborating evidence you have for your statements is that
you say it. (i.e. no evidence at all).
When making totally absurd statements such as "only humans can collapse wave
functions", it's best to have some evidence. What's your evidence?
Please cite any reference online and I'll take a look at it. Note that the 8
"INTERPRETATIONS" below are called that since no single Interpretation amounts
to a preemptive body of proof. All are hypotheses. Yet you say you know for
sure. That's bizarre!
