Gayest post of the week award! Borat rules. The sad part is that the more successful the 3 characters from the Ali G Show become, the less likely the characters will continue. This is because the success of the characters is the impromptu interaction between them and reallife Americans who thought that the characters were real. Once Borat, Ali G. and the Gay German telejournalist (I forget his name) become known, the characters can no longer do their magic. My favourite skit was when Ali G. interviewed Andy Rooney of 60 Minutes and Rooney threw Ali G. out of the office and Ali G. asked him: Is it because I'm black? --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, shempmcgurk shempmcgurk@ wrote: http://tinyurl.com/jddqw http://tinyurl.com/jddqw [Borat] To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' Also: I was just thinking that Cohen is really the heir-apparent to Andy Kaufman. This is really the type of stuff Kaufman did. Can you imagine the glee Kaufman would have gotten from getting an entire country -- Khagakstan -- up in arms over his act? --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, shempmcgurk shempmcgurk@ wrote: http://tinyurl.com/jddqw http://tinyurl.com/jddqw [Borat] To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' Thank God. :-) Sacha Baron Cohen is a British comic, not American. His three characters are all non-American and it is by virtue of the fact that his characters weren't known in America that he was able to do what he did.
