However, what you could do that might be better is offer moderation, mediation and may be reconciliation to a different end from where it is now. What has been missing all along from their language `up there' entirely is anything towards reconciling how it has gone and where it might go with that.. Theirs is such an amazing moral self- confidence (absorption) that is so different from how it has gone. There evidently has been a lot of bad behavior in the middle. In the peace movement the process is called, `Truth and Reconciliation'. The double-speak with sweet truth, you might help them with that. People generally have a pretty good sense of what is right and mostly have voted with their feet when they look at it. That is not being negative but recognizing what is what. Seeing a .org not dead in the water but dog-paddling as if swimming? It has been an amazing long squander. Matter of fact. I watched a `large' donor of the TMO the other day implore, what more can we do? What more needs to be done? In a room full of TB'ers not a person could tell this powerful person that what also is needed is reconciliation in the meditating community with what has gone before and an insistence on social good-behavior as most people would recognize it: honest transparency. The donors have an incredible amount of power and instead they give it away. An irony there was that this powerful donor did say to the room, you are not telling me the truth! . The donor just did not really know what to ask for and how to discern it. Damn right they are not going to blurt it out but they don't see it either. At that level they are all complicit. It is international court material, like crime against humanity, for the opportunity squandered. That is just a matter of fact. What of the people who support it? James is an old friend and I like him a lot, but he seems inclined to glimpse a situation, judge it as less positive or loving than where he's at, make a patronizing comment or two, and then leave. He did the same thing the one time he came to our Wednesday Night Satsang.
