 OT.  I wonder if it should be pashya (see!), NOT pasha, if it's an imperative 
form of the verb dRs as in Giitaa I 3:
 

 pashyaitaaM* [...] mahatiiM camuum...

From about 2:00 onwards, tat savitur vareNyam, first presented in "normal" 
style, then recited (or whatever) in saama-veda style, prolonging the syllables 
at times quite a lot!
