I think quite a bit was said in the early days about the passenger lists of all the planes including talking heads( Barbara Olsen) on the plane that hit the Pentagon. The reason for all the pay outs by the Government was to keep people from suing the individual Airlines and a quick fix. In order to receive compensation one had to agree not to sue the airlines as I recall. The book is well documented. It took them 17 years to put it all together. Some of the information was not available until the end of the 1990s. They claim it was a mafia hit and that there was an attempt a few days earlier in Tampa. I made the same conclusion after reading a section of a college history book in the late 60's which talked about Robert Kennedy's campaign against the mafia during the JFK administration. I have "Ultimate Sacrifice" which is a thick book but a very interesting read.
