originally I had a fascination with the comic 'kabuki' - the literal
translation of that word is 'Song, Dance, Drama' which I thought was a good
title for my fanfic section.  At the time I was on a Buffy list where half
of the people were obsessed with manga, so most people's web pages had
japanese names.  That and one day on an off-chance I went looking through
this online dictionary for the translations of 'vice'.  akutoku is one
version - I liked it, used it for my links site title - then went searching
for the japanese for the rest of my page titles.  The kanji was just a
recurring theme.

Got sick of it last month.

Gisaku translates as 'pulp fiction', and 'mudai' is  me.  When I made
kabukivice the portal, gisaku it was.
