If you want you can also adjust PATH in your .profile so that
/usr/local/bin comes before /opt/local/bin, problem solved.

I also tried to understand the two MIDI documentations. I am a little bit
confused. Both webpages use "faustcaqt", instead of "faust2caqt". I
couldn't find faustcaqt, faustjaqt, or faustios in /usr/local/bin on my Mac
computer. I also could not use "fuast2caqt". It shows "faust:
