2018-06-12 Thread Rich Bowen
Any word yet as to where I should set up tomorrow? I'd like to email all of
the people signed up to let them know.

Re: Feathercast @FOSS Backstage & Apache Roadshow

2018-05-30 Thread Rich Bowen
Hi, folks. I'm afraid I've rather dropped the ball on this, but there's
still time. I'm putting together the signup doc right now - it's at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v4yYSSiBu8QX7P7axwLNCsRZr9h-HSXtQ3OycmM1u-o/edit?usp=sharing
- and am filling in the time slots right now.

I'm not sure what the best way is to publicize this to speakers. Do you
have advice there? If we can get a message to speakers, it would be
something like:

Dear FOSS Backstage Speaker,

Feathercast is the official podcast of the Apache Software Foundation,
and they'd like to talk with you about your project. (Not just Apache
projects, but anything FOSS.)

If you'd like to talk about your project, please sign up at
https://goo.gl/Z2MTDY for a time, and read the information on the second
tab of that spreadsheet for some information about what the interview
will be like.

Thanks, and we'll see you in Berlin!

In the weeks before the event, it would be good to have a signup sheet
for interviews, so that folks can plan. Is that something you will
coordinate, or should I?

I can put up a Google Doc somewhere once I look more carefully at the
event schedule to see what the good times are.

Hi All

Please see below for an email I've received about doing some
Feathercast interviews during the Apache Roadshow and FOSS Backstage.

As we have the Apache Lounge around during Buzzwords we probably have
most of the week to record stuff. Unfortunately I won't be attending
the Roadshow or FOSS Backstage,  so is anyone interested and
available to do some on site interviews?

Thanks
Sharan

Hi Sharan,

I hope this email finds you well. How would you feel about bringing
Feathercast to our event in June for a couple of interviews with the
speakers? We would gladly provide you and/or other Feathercast
interviewers with a quiet room for recordings and assist with
interviews

setups.

Let me know what you think!

All the best,
Ekat
