Why did you made the metallic base brown/golden? It is grey in the splash: http://fedoraproject.org/static/images/f10launch.png I did both, and the second one looked a bit more glossy. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Image:Leaflet.png and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Image:Leaflet1.png Don't you think the screenshots are too blurry (small resolution) to be printed like this? Yes, they are. I am replacing them. Is a high resolution version of this picture is available somewhere? http://fedoraproject.org/static/images/f10launch.png And I believe you have here the front and back page, the copyright disclaimer looks like the last page. Yes, you are rightmy fault that I didn't mention the last page. An finally, I think you can use an image with sharp, not rounded corners. Ok. Will remove the rounded corners. Re: USB station poster Solar background.
Very nice otherwise. One thing I thought about regarding this is that while it's nice to keep up to date on posters like these, I wonder if a stable version for 3 or 4 releases would be more cost effective and could go into an EventBox or something. Nice suggestion! It would be great if we could have a version independent poster for the USB station KIT. Don't forget http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/USBStickCreationKit which has launched as an EventBox sub-project. Re: I need a freemedia web banner.
What we have is the SVG source for the existing banners (and I believe there should be a general template somewhere, but I am unable to find it). It should be a trivial task to take such a SVG, replace the icon (probably with a CD/DVD icon from wither Bluecurve, Mist or Echo) and change the text to say Free Media Thanks.. :) At first I was unable to find the sources. Now found out they are here[1]. Re: F11 DVD label, how does this look like?
Also, to keep the printing cost down ideally the label will use only a few colors, see for example http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/MediaArt/F10 Well, here in India, they don't charge by color. They charge at a flat rate of 11INR(22 cents) each for bulk production. We did a bulk run of 3000 for F10, here[1] is the photo. I think about something very simple, like a blue disc with all the required text *and* a ring at the outer edge in the Greek pattern proposed by Mo. This will be simple to make. I shall do it. Re: F11 DVD label, how does this look like?
Then probably they are printed with inkjet printers, Nope...they are offset printing, the artwork is printed directly on DVD surface. where the number of colors doesn't matter. Usually the labels are printed this way at home, being too expensive for a large scale, but 22 cents seems fine to me. And 22 cents is all inclusive, Blank DVD, DVD replication, printing artwork and Shipping in bulk to anywhere in India. :) -- Regards, Susmit. = ssh 0x86DD170A http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/user:susmit = ___ Fedora-art-list mailing list Fedora-art-list@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-art-list

I am not a big fan of that, but if you want you may try a button design with a simplified version of the lion head (the layer taken from the wallpaper .xcf) over a blue background and maybe the fedora word.
