Why did you made the metallic base brown/golden? It is grey in the splash:
http://fedoraproject.org/static/images/f10launch.png
I did both, and the second one looked a bit more glossy.

Can anyone please export this to png and upload somewhere?
While exporting Inkscape seems to hang in my relatively slower machine...

It would be nice if someone with a better configuration machine can do
the tuning.
It took an eternity on my machine to do this.
I am uploading the source svg.

Very nice otherwise. One thing I thought about regarding this is that
while it's nice to keep up to date on posters like these, I wonder if
a stable version for 3 or 4 releases would be more cost effective and
could go into an EventBox or something.
Nice suggestion! It would be great if we

What we have is the SVG source for the existing banners (and I believe there
should be a general template somewhere, but I am unable to find it).
It should be a trivial task to take such a SVG, replace the icon (probably
with a CD/DVD icon from wither Bluecurve, Mist or Echo) and change the
Hi,
We have been moving the freemedia infrastructure from fedoranews to
our own servers.
Towards this goal, we have managed to setup this[1] form and a TRAC[2] .
Now, can you please suggest, how to keep this[1] form consistence with
rest of the Fedora website/wiki?
I tried to use
I tried to use http://fedoraproject.org/static/css/fedora.css but
without much result.
On using this, I am getting only the left side bar. Nothing else. :)
Some help will be nice to have.
Sorry to disturb.
I managed to find it out and get it working from fedorapeople. :)
Thanks.

Hello,

Hi,
I was just thinking about it.
Currently, It is sent as a plaintext mail.
A nice template and sending it as a newslater can make it more
professional looking.
I think we can work on it...
What do you think?

For F11 not yet, since they will have to fir somehow the rest of the theme,
probably using the pattern proposed my Mo (the CD art has to be simple, for
cost effective mass replication)
I am working on CD label as usual. :)

Also, to keep the printing cost down ideally the label will use only a few
colors, see for example http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/MediaArt/F10
Well, here in India, they don't charge by color.
They charge at a flat rate of 11INR(22 cents) each for bulk production.
We did a bulk run of

being too expensive for a large scale, but 22 cents seems fine to

I am not a big fan of that, but if you want you may try a button design with
a simplified version of the lion head (the layer taken from the wallpaper
.xcf) over a blue background and maybe the fedora word.
I don't think this is coming out good.
I have made a simple one here:
Hi,
A little bit ago Susmit showed his interest about working on this:

Can you export this pictures in CMYK too ?
I don't know how to do it. GIMP does not support this.
$convert will do the job, but is there a easier way?
Can somebody please help?
