I think that idea maybe isn't benefit with repository.
If updates repository is merged into Everything repository, Will metadata
files become too large? I know that the size of metadatas on updates and
everything are more than 30 megabytes. If these two repositories compose, We
will need download

After updating the package, compiz crashed and glxgears can not run.
However, KMS and plymouth can still run well.
Here is dmesg message that I grabbed:

Some Linux distros has migrated from grub-0.97 to grub2-1.97. Grub2
provides more useful features to users. And it is more easy to add a new
file system support. But I can not see Fedora has any plan for GRUB2. I
read a feature page
with 'Main Menu'. I request to add
them by default.

I have upgraded the latest packages from Rawhide, including xorg-x11-drv-ati
and some components of X. It looks quite good. Glxgears performance grows
from about 640 fps to more than 1000 fps. Gnome-terminal is more smooth but
not perfect.
I found other problems in Fedora 12.

I've installed F-12 beta on my new laptop with ati radeon hd 4570 graphic
card, I was going to file new bug. With kms enabled, everything is really
slw, with 'nomodeset' it's much faster. I can't say exactly how slow
it
is, is there anything I can use for measuring?

ATi display driver does not run well.
My display card is Sapphire HD3650 with 256MB GDDR3 VRAM (RV635). I choose
OSS driver for my card. Glxgears runs so smoothly with xorg-x11-drv-ati
because of KMS by default,

Oh..So I need to remove radeonhd driver in my box. RadeonHD seems to be one
part of xorg-x11-drv-ati. They provides the same things to ati users. But
radeonhd only stand for R500/R600 later.
