--------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2006-840 2006-07-19 ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Product : Fedora Core 4 Name : flex Version : 2.5.4a Release : 41.fc4 Summary : A tool for creating scanners (text pattern recognizers). Description : The flex program generates scanners. Scanners are programs which can recognize lexical patterns in text. Flex takes pairs of regular expressions and C code as input and generates a C source file as output. The output file is compiled and linked with a library to produce an executable. The executable searches through its input for occurrences of the regular expressions. When a match is found, it executes the corresponding C code. Flex was designed to work with both Yacc and Bison, and is used by many programs as part of their build process. You should install flex if you are going to use your system for application development. --------------------------------------------------------------------- * Tue Jul 18 2006 Petr Machata <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - 2.5.4a-41.fc4 - revert posix patch --------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be downloaded from: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/4/ 12c05b3c6c4674eab4fc5e357ccdf7b2226f64a2 SRPMS/flex-2.5.4a-41.fc4.src.rpm 12c05b3c6c4674eab4fc5e357ccdf7b2226f64a2 noarch/flex-2.5.4a-41.fc4.src.rpm 6142fd53c54bed434282189454bf5c9dc8878039 ppc/flex-2.5.4a-41.fc4.ppc.rpm 346d4e07f6147e01107b2c491dca824cfaaf1634 ppc/debug/flex-debuginfo-2.5.4a-41.fc4.ppc.rpm a436b27266729a15aed2f411f6475ec72f7aa7d4 x86_64/flex-2.5.4a-41.fc4.x86_64.rpm fa09b737aa2cdf00f2d8de30a77411267193399e x86_64/debug/flex-debuginfo-2.5.4a-41.fc4.x86_64.rpm 7d69962178e9b83516b88937e492edd012ec9c9f i386/flex-2.5.4a-41.fc4.i386.rpm f28ea5d08cff530c06fc9e4fab1f6fef9992dd15 i386/debug/flex-debuginfo-2.5.4a-41.fc4.i386.rpm This update can be installed with the 'yum' update program.
